Small Stories is an audio documentary piece that explores the lifeworlds of the artists and musicians currently living and working within the world on hip-hop in modern day New York City. Historically, New York is viewed as the birthplace of not only a genre, but a movement that has changed the course of music. Small Stories seeks to explore the lifeworlds of those involved in the city's grassroots music scene to uncover how much the genre means to them.

 

Small Stories was originally aired on Resonance FM on the 10th of April 2018 and on T-One Presents on the 10th October 2018.
